Olawale Amao serves as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for eVortex Solutions Inc. An experienced Corporate Banking and Project Finance Professional, with more than 20 years of banking/finance experience cutting across different industry segments. Mr. Amao has been involved in structuring, closing and executing landmark syndicated and bilateral projects/corporate finance transactions for Clients in the Infrastructure and Energy sectors of the economy. Armed with a first degree in Accounting, Mr. Amao obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He started his career in the prestigious firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) and acquired experience spanning through Corporate & Commercial Banking, Business and Project viability advisory, Stakeholder Relationship Management, Enterprise Risk Management, Credit Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance amongst others. He has worked in leading banks and rose to Assistant Vice President in the Corporate & Investment Banking Division of Stanbic IBTC Bank where he led a team of Bankers in putting together custom-made financial solutions such as Structured Trade Financing, Working Capital Financing, foreign Currency Hedging etc. for local and multinational corporations operating in different industries. Mr. Amao is a fellow of the Institute of the Chartered Institute of Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and is a certified Project Management Professional. Mr. Amao brings to the Board a wealth of experience that cuts across Assurance, Business Management, Corporate Banking and Financial Advisory.
